Bettys at Harlow Carr reopens after refurb - with new takeaway hatch

The new-look Bettys at RHS Harlow Carr.

Bettys Café Tea Rooms at RHS Garden Harlow Carr has reopened following a month-long refurbishment.

The Harrogate venue has refreshed its tea rooms and introduced a new Bettys To-Go Hatch at the entrance, where visitors can pick up picnic essentials before heading into the gardens.

Table bookings will also now be available, helping customers plan their visit, particularly families arriving later in the afternoon.

Graeme Sharp, Branch Manager at Bettys Harlow Carr, said:

“We are delighted to be welcoming people back into our new look Bettys at RHS Harlow Carr.

“We have a very unique location here on the edge of the RHS Garden and we hope the changes we have made will enhance our customers experience of both our Café Tea Rooms and the Garden itself.”

The reopening comes as the gardens take on their autumn colours.

Liz Thwaite, Head of Site at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, said:

“Bettys has long been an important part of the visitor experience at RHS Harlow Carr, so we're thrilled to see the new-look Café Tea Rooms unveiled ready for the autumn season.

“With the garden looking particularly spectacular at this time of year, visitors can enjoy a fantastic day out, taking in the seasonal colour before relaxing and enjoying all that Bettys has to offer.”
