A family-run stay and play café in Harrogate enjoyed it "best day on record" on its final day of trading over the weekend.
Brood Coffee House on Commercial Street opened for 4 hours on Saturday (29th November) before closing its doors.
Owners Hannah and Mikki said the decision to close had been a difficult one, citing family commitments and the upcoming arrival of a baby as key factors.
The café, which opened two and a half years ago, has been a popular spot for families, offering a space where parents can relax while children play.
Owners Hannah and Mikki said:
“What a day! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today for our final day of trading, you certainly sent us off with a bang!
“We had our best day on record in just the 4 hours we were open… safe to say I’m shattered!”
Timed sessions were held throughout the day - and it was a “pay-as-you-feel” day, with all stock up for grabs.
More items are currently open to offers and can be found on the Brood Coffee House social media.
