90's favourites N-Trance to headline new Harrogate music festival

90's favourites N-Trance to headline new Harrogate music festival Schools from across the Harrogate district are set to benefit from a new family-friendly music festival starring 1990s dance favourites N-Trance. 'Summer Fest' promises a fun-filled day of 90's vibes with a proportion of every ticket sold going straight to schools within the region. The festival, due to take place on Saturday 2nd September at Conyngham Hall in Knaresborough, has been organised by Enchantica’s following the success of previous fundraising initiatives. In total, 30 nominated schools will benefit from the festival ticket sales while further monies will be raised through a ‘sponsor a school’ business sponsorship and through activity stalls on the day. Suzanne Vaughan, Director at Enchantica’s said:

"After the success of our Oatlands Fundraising Ball where we raised over £6,000 for Oatland Infant’s new playground, we were inundated with requests from parents and teachers asking us to help raise much needed funds for their schools. "With Summer Fest we wanted to create something to benefit as many schools as possible whilst also having a joyous time at the end of the summer holidays before the kids go back to school. "We’re absolutely thrilled that the festival is now supporting 31 schools and learning organisations in a collective fundraising initiative. "It’s very exciting for our community and will be the first time a collective fundraising event has taken place locally with so many schools and businesses working together to achieve more. “At the same time, we can’t wait to do what we do best and put on a spectacular show filled with magic, 90s vibes and family fun.”
As well as a star performance from headline act N-Trance - famous for such hits as ‘Set You Free’ and ‘Forever’ - there will also be 90s Brit Pop and Dance sets from tribute group Rock The 90s and local DJs Rory Hoy and DJ Dent. There will also be fun games for all the family to play, such as ‘hook-a-duck’, ‘penalty shoot-out’, ‘guess the balloons in the tractor’ and more. Among those benefitting from the funds raised are specialist projects at Artizan and Henshaws. Flora Simpson, Senior Fundraiser at Henshaws said:
"We are so excited to be a part of Summer Fest as a fantastic community event. Here at Henshaws we understand the importance of helping each other in the community and supporting one another. "It is so amazing to see fundraising on behalf of so many different schools and learning organisations and we are proud to be a part of this collaboration to help raise essential funds for the incredible establishments in the area. "At Henshaws we support people living with disabilities and visual impairments so events like this help us to raise awareness for our cause and essential funds to allow us to continue to change people’s lives. We hope Summer Fest will be a huge success and become an annual event for the community."
