The Wardrobe Exchange

Join Sarah and Rebecca for a festive edition of The Wardrobe Exchange, this time taking over downstairs at Claro Lounge.

With party season just around the corner, it’s the perfect excuse to have a wardrobe clear-out, find something fabulous to wear over Christmas and enjoy a relaxed evening with good people (and perhaps a festive drink or two).

Bring along your quality pre-loved clothing, footwear and accessories and swap them for new-to-you finds. Expect party dresses, sparkles, Christmas jumpers, winter favourites and everyday gems, all ready for their next outing. And because Christmas isn’t just about what we’re wearing, this time we’re also welcoming quality pre-loved toys and games, a lovely chance to clear some space before December and give something another life in a new home.

There’ll be plenty of time to browse, try things on, have a drink, catch up with friends and enjoy the fabulous feeling of finding a brilliant outfit without buying brand new.

Anything left at the end of the evening will be donated to Saint Michael’s Hospice Shop, so even the pieces that don’t find a new home on the night will go on to do some good.

Good clothes. Good people. Festive finds. Greater impact

If you've never been to a clothes swap before, don't worry, neither have lots of other people! We've designed this to be really simple and, most importantly, a lovely evening out.

Step 1: Have a wardrobe clear out. Bring together up to 10 adult items and/or 5 children's items that you no longer wear but someone else would genuinely love. Think quality pre-loved clothing, shoes and accessories that are clean, in excellent condition and ready for their next home.

Step 2: Drop your clothes off at The GreenHouse, Ripon if you can: this will help us get everything organised and the rails beautifully stocked before everyone arrives. The final drop-off deadline pre-event is 4:30pm on Saturday 24th October. As a little thank you, if you drop your items off in advance, you get early access from 6pm, giving you first look before general admission at 6.30pm.
If you don't have time to drop off in advance, you can also bring items along on the evening; there might be a little bit of a wait while we check them in

Step 3: Come along and enjoy the evening! When you arrive, you'll receive credits for the items you've contributed and then it's time to browse. If you joined us last time and had credits leftover, you can add those together and see if you can spend them all this time!
Don't have anything to swap? You're still very welcome! Grab a ticket, come along and buy credits on the night. You can also top up your credits on the evening.
