Northern Country Sports Show

The Great Yorkshire Show Ground, Harrogate, is the stunning location for the first of a new annual event, the Northern Country Sports Show!

The Northern is a celebration of the countryside way of life, where good stewardship of the land and wildlife, and our enjoyment of it, is an everyday consideration. A family and dog friendly show, there will be plenty to keep the kids entertained as you browse the many exhibitors and relax in the summer sun on the Show Ground lawns, enjoying open-fire food and local brews while watching a wide selection of demonstrations and activities.

Attractions include: Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery, Big-Top with circus acts and Circus Workshop, Ferret display, Working Dog demonstrations and Scurries, Fly Fishing Casting demonstrations, kid's treasure hunt and more!

Visit with our exhibitors where you can browse and buy rifles, ammunition, fishing tackle, clothing, outdoor gear, working dog supplies, knives and tools, artisan items and homeware, and much more. We have internationally recognised brands at the Northern as well as many local businesses.

Hungry? Thirsty? We will have open-fire game cooking and locally brewed drinks for you to enjoy as you relax in the sun. You can also get involved in live-fire cooking!

Conservation and sustainability of the countryside is a bug focus of the Northern, so visit with the British Association for Conservation and Shooting who will have educational (and fun!) activities for the kids. We also have supporters of our native Red Squirrels to talk about their efforts and the police will be on hand to help with your firearms licensing queries and variations.

Early bird tickets can be purchased via our website at £10 per day or £15 for a weekend pass, plus a very small booking fee. Kids go free as do well-behaved dogs. Parking is free and you can camp with us for just £35 for the weekend.
