Mental Elf

Mental Elf Knaresborough 2025 is a festive fun run filled with colour, laughter, and community spirit — all in support of better mental health across the Harrogate District.

Following last year’s hugely successful debut, which raised over £8,000 for Mind in Harrogate District’s Children and Young People’s Mental Health Service, the event returns to Conyngham Hall, Knaresborough for another day of festive fun.

Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to walk, jog, or run the scenic route, dressed in their most creative costumes.

Expect plenty of Christmas cheer, music, and the ever-popular fancy dress competition, including the Best Dressed Dog category.

The run will once again be officially started by Tom Gordon MP, with support from returning sponsors Strive Group, Verity Frearson, and Coach Gyms.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply spreading festive joy, Mental Elf is a fun, inclusive event for everyone.

All proceeds raised go directly to Mind in Harrogate District, helping local people of all ages achieve better mental health.
