Harrogate Artists are Opening Their Studios

Free to visit and spread across seven locations in Harrogate, North Yorkshire Open Studios 2026 invites visitors inside working artists’ studios across two weekends — 6–7 and 13–14 June.

This rare behind-the-scenes event offers the chance to meet local artists, explore where the work is made, and experience art beyond the gallery wall. From expressive landscapes to contemporary abstract works, visitors can discover a wide range of creative practices in welcoming studio spaces across the town.

There’s no pressure to buy — just an open invitation to look, ask questions, and enjoy art up close. Seeing artwork in real life reveals texture, scale, and detail that can never quite be captured on a screen.

Visitors can follow an easy walking route between studios, with guides available from participating venues and local businesses.

North Yorkshire Open Studios is one of the UK’s largest open studio events and celebrates artistic talent across the region.
