More Information (Your Harrogate is not responsible for external websites)
CLARO and BAOC join forces to invite you to a world premier in the unique venue of Harrogate Army Foundation College. Newly mapped by John Lebeter, Quentin Harding and Ruth Ker. Explore the barracks, courtyards, training tracks, armoured vehicles, assault courses, military artefacts, biking tracks, shooting ranges and trees planted in very straight rows.
Courses for all including Accessible, Grander Vets (85+) and Juniors (campus is car-free). Run your age class to be included in the YHOA Urban League. Or run any course you fancy. The courses will be nearly full length urban distances with a high density of controls. Super training opportunity before the competitive sprints of the JK and British. Test your ability to focus and not mis-punch!
Varied terrain, mostly of an urban campus nature, with some unusual army areas, some on softer surfaces. Some parts are muddy due to cadet training activities – the longer courses visit these while the shorter courses less so. The course list below provides details so you can make an informed choice of course. Courses 1-3 will have more than 30 controls; please make sure your SI card can handle these numbers (some older types can’t).
Guaranteed entry will close midnight Sunday 9th February. After this date, entry on RaceSignup will remain available depending on the availability of maps and subject to a supplementary fee until midnight on Thursday 13th Feb.
