It's the end of another busy week in the Harrogate district and a few heads have just started turning towards the Christmas period... But there's no sign of things slowing down as we race towards the end of November. Here are three big things happening in Harrogate next week... Harrogate Theatre's Christmas pantomime! [caption id="attachment_16001" align="aligncenter" width="1080"] Cinderella will be this year's Christmas pantomime.[/caption] The family favourite Christmas pantomime at Harrogate Theatre starts next week! Launch night will be on Wednesday (24th November) for this year's production of Cinderella. The show kicks off with two morning shows on Wednesday and Thursday at 10am, before the big opening night on Friday (26th November). Cinderella runs until 16th January but is booking up fast - so get your tickets here. Snow forecasted for Harrogate district [caption id="attachment_5290" align="aligncenter" width="2048"] Snow showers are forecasted for Friday in Harrogate.[/caption] Yes you read that right - snow is forecasted for Harrogate next week! Whilst earlier forecasts predicted snow showers on Thursday (25th November), these have now moved to Friday (26th November) - so be prepared! Green Jumper Day [caption id="attachment_19939" align="alignnone" width="1920"] Green Jumper founder Alec Walton in his green jumper.[/caption] The inaugural Green Jumper Day kicks off on Friday (26th November). The event, organised by charity Green Jumper, will see over 1,000 businesses, schools and organisations turn down their heating and throw on a green jumper.
