Light installation brings 'stories to life' as part of literature festival

Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival organisers have erected a large light installation in the form of a book as part of the online festival.

As the authors took to the Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival digital stage this weekend, literature also came to life in the streets of Harrogate with a large light installation in the form of a book. As dusk fell on both Friday and Saturday, the pages turned, and the book shared well-known tales such as the Jaberwocky and the Gashlycrumb Tinies. [caption id="attachment_2560" align="alignnone" width="2560"] The giant book was positioned in Library Gardens in Harrogate.[/caption] It was positioned in Library Gardens, and there was plenty of room for watching, whilst at the same time ensuring social distancing can be safely observed! The light installation was presented as part of the Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival which took place over the weekend, and was installed by Harrogate International Festivals and Harrogate BID.
